Who We Are
VIVA (Vancouverโs Iranian Visual Arts) Alliance is a non-profit organization operating on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xwmษฮธkwษyฬษm (Musqueam), Sแธตwxฬฑwรบ7mesh (Squamish), and sษlฬรญlwษtaษฌ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
VIVA Alliance brings together a dynamic community of artists, curators, scholars, and cultural practitioners dedicated to expanding opportunities and visibility for artists through curatorial initiatives, exhibitions, and professional support.
Through its programming, VIVA Alliance fosters meaningful and inclusive intercultural dialogue among artists and diverse communities. The organization is particularly committed to engaging with IBPOC artists, minority arts leaders, and cultural changemakers, creating platforms for collaboration, exchange, and critical discourse that contribute to the broader cultural landscape.
