A Two-day workshop with Majid Tafreshi
Details:
Dates: April 11 & 12, 2026
Time: 10AM – 4PM (12 hours total)
Fee: $150.00 per person
Members Fee: $135.00 per person
This two-day workshop uses acting as a tool for self-expression, emotional release, and personal awareness. It is designed to help participants connect more openly with themselves and others through guided exercises.
Participants will work through a process of unlearning habitual responses and exploring more honest ways of reacting, speaking, and being present. The workshop focuses on practical activities such as improvisation, storytelling, emotional preparation, and character work—not for performance training, but to access and express internal experiences.
The sessions are structured to support both individual reflection and group interaction. Exercises include body and voice work, simple meditation, and collaborative tasks that encourage participants to express themselves, listen, and respond to others in real time.
The environment is intended to be supportive and respectful, allowing participants to feel safe and comfortable while engaging with vulnerability at a pace that feels comfortable.
This workshop is open to everyone—not only those interested in acting, but also individuals who are seeking a therapeutic experience through individual and collaborative work, or who are dealing with emotional burdens and may feel unsure of how to express themselves.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have the option to share short pieces developed during the sessions with invited guests.
